We also work with clients on specific skills building and individual services including:
Strong Interest Inventory (SII): The Strong Interest Inventory is an instrument which provides information about your interests. It identifies themes and specific areas of interest, as well as compares your interests with those of individuals in a variety of occupations. The SII measures your interests, not your abilities. It can help you to expand the range of possible career paths that you might be considering at any given time.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI): The MBTI provides insight into qualities such as: how you make decisions, ways of interacting with people, how you prefer to gather information, and what energizes you. The MBTI is does not measure aptitudes, but instead assists in describing differences between people. The personality profile facilitates the exploration and understanding of an individual's choice of majors, occupations, and work settings.
NorthBridge Proprietary Tools: We have developed our own assessment and job search tools based on years of working with clients and in our business experience.
Resume Writing: Today's resume must tell a rich and relevant story. It must be concise,well-written, engaging and favorable to search engine optimization. A typical online resume is scanned in 10 seconds by hiring managers and should not be more than two pages, even for the most senior-level executives. Our resume writers will help you craft your message to get you in the door.
Interview Preparation: It is critical that you are well-prepared for your interview. We suggest four to six hours of preparation for every one interview hour. Our team knows what hiring managers and recruiters are looking for because we have had their jobs and we have worked in their industries. Preparing for an interview with our team will help you build skills and confidence for that important interview.
"Sara has been an invaluable resource in my search for employment in a new industry. She has provided both the guidance in identifying the industry that my personality is best suited for, and the focus that is required to create a comprehensive plan to achieve the objective of getting my desired position. Also, the organizational tools that she has provided have been indispensable in my job search as that was an area that I previously struggled in. I appreciate what Sara has done for me and would recommend her to anyone that is in need of a career coach."
-----Client in career transition
" I wanted to thank you for the preparation for my interviews. Your advice was very helpful throughout the process. I had two very different experiences with the firms. The first < small niche consulting firm> was very welcoming and I felt very at home during the interviews. The second <large consulting firm> felt a little unwelcoming and a bit more of a hostile interview style trying to get a rise out of you. Overall you REALLY made a BIG difference in helping me be prepared for this process and I cannot thank you enough."
